It worked!

130.5!

I'm a day behind but whatever. My new pants i got two weeks ago were too big! I'm trying to decide whether or not to exchange them for a smaller size. Seems risky this early on. I'll blog this week's plan later!

Again, ignore the tan. I'm starting to see some abs poke through!

1 step down, 1 to go...

No change again in weight (dang it!). I worked out M-Sa this week and feel like a have a workout schedule back under control. Eating is another story. Some days were really good and I stuck to my plan, most days were bad/out of control though. But, I have a plan for this week! After the mother's day festivities today, I have a meal plan for each day through Saturday. It's following Jillian Michael's Master Your Metabolism book. Basically you are eating/not eating certain foods at certain times of the day to balance your hormone levels/cravings/sugar highs and lows/etc. It worked and was filling for me before, so it's time to eat well again. NO processed foods and mainly organic. Here's the workout and eating plans for this week:
Workout:
M- Blast Fat, Boost Metabolism DVD
T- Running
W- No More Trouble Zones DVD
Th- Running
F- 30 Day Shred DVD
Sa- Running
S- Rest
Eating:
M- Egg whites & grapefruit; Southwest chicken salad; apple w/ walnuts; tilapia w/ roasted veg.
T- Berry Smoothie; salad w/ chicken; carrots w/ hummus; salmon w/ veg.
W-Breakfast Burrito; sirloin w/ brown rice; apple w/ greek yogurt; pork chop w/ green beans
Th-Berry Sm.; Southwest chicken salad; carrots w/ hummus; turkey tenderloin w/ asparagus
F- cottage cheese w/ grapefruit; tuna sand w/ carrots; apple w/ walnuts; tilapia w/ roasted veg.
Sa- Breakfast Bur.; Hot tuna sand.; greek yogurt w/ blueberries; chicken w/ salad
I've done it before so I know I can do it again! Wish me luck!
I'm hoping to see some changes for next week!

Update

No change in my weight this week. It must have been all the baklava (combined with going to the movies on Friday and downing Raisinets, Twizzlers, and Sour Patch Kids after we'd gone out to eat and I had an Oreo milkshake). So good. :) The girls and I decided May 1 was a good time to start over again so I was a good girl yesterday and so far today. I also picked up 'No More Trouble Zones' and 'Banish Fat Boost Metabolism' by Jillian Michaels at Target on sale. I already have her '30 Day Shred' video. I did the Touble Zones yesterday and I actually called her evil to the TV like she could hear me or something. Krissy and I are going to do the Metabolism one after school on Monday. Hopefully I'll be looking and feeling fantastic by the time school gets out!

Dang it!

Well, this week was not so good. I ate pretty crappy all week and didn't work out as much. I took pictures but deleted them by accident. Ha. I'll take new ones next week. Anyway, my weight went up to 135.5. I know I didn't eat THAT much, so it has to be bloating if you know what I mean. My abs are looking a little better so maybe some of the weight has come from the increase in strength training. Hopefully the numbers will be better next week. Pictures and progress update next week. :) Bathing suit season is on it's way! I have to stick with it!

Yes!

Woohoo! I'm sure some of it was water weight so the goal for next week is to at least have it not go up. I'm also up to $10 in my jar. :) Let's see what progress is made next week.

Money!

So, as promised, I'm letting you in on my motivation today. I have a reward jar! I am basically like a small child still. I love a visual representation of my success progress. Give me a sticker when I do a good job any day!

For each workout I put in $1. I also put in $1 when I've eaten well all day and avoided the pitfalls of working in an elem. school. I'm up to $7 as of this evening. :)

The hard part will be deciding what to spend my money on. Shoes? A pedicure? A massage? Running accessories? What to do?! Any suggestions?
P.S. Do you think I can get my photos from yesterday retouched? :)http://www.mirror.co.uk/celebs/news/2010/04/13/britney-unbrushed-115875-22182119/

Tight!

And not the good tiiight! The bad tight. The my pants don't fit and I'm getting a muffin top tight. After the half-marathon I relaxed on my diet and it shows. The lack of miles and lazy/relaxed eating habits caught up with me. I guess eating peanut butter (at least it was organic right?) out of the jar with a spoon will do that to you. Lame.
As of marathon day I was 122 lbs. which is the lowest I'd been since junior year of high school. I loved it. I felt like I could wear anything in my closet without hesitation and really felt good about myself. then I got to the point where I was last Friday: on the verge of a panic attack in my closet because all of my pants/tops felt and looked too tight. Maybe other people feel comfortable with a pooch but I do not. It was the final kick in the rear that I needed. I'd been 'trying' to eat healthier but it wasn't working. I'd still sit down and scarf dark chocolate peanut M&M's like I was going to die in the next five minutes.
Now, I'm prepared for eye rolling and nasty under the breath comments. I weighed in Sunday at 132.5. Not overweight I know, but still more than I am comfortable with. I want to get dressed in the morning and wear anything in my closet, not try on tons of clothes to find something that buttons with ease and doesn't make me feel crappy. I am very hard on myself, I know. I also know how much better I felt about myself before.
Picture time. I decided to do the unthinkable and post pics of my progress... in a bathing suit. Terrible I know. I did cut my head off because I just woke up and looked VERY unhappy. Maybe that would have made a better 'before' shot? I'll give you an update every two weeks or so. I've never lost more than .5 per week so I'm hoping to be down to 129-130 by the time school gets out. Why is it so much harder to lose it than to gain it? Moving on... I can't believe I'm actually doing this.
Please ignore the terrible running tan lines. :)

Tomorrow's blog... the reward jar!
